Tutor: Julie Arkell

Julie Arkell is one of the UK's most recognised contemporary folk artists working in papier-mache and mixed media. She favours discarded toys and printed textiles for inspiration.

During this workshop Julie will demonstrate how to make the little creatures, rabbits, dolls and animals that have become her trademark.

On day one you will make the creatures and day two you will dress them. If there is time you will also construct the trucks, cars, and prams that they travel in.

And maybe the trees, houses, chairs and beds so that your little creature will have its own cosy environment to live in!

Print Room, Stroud Valley Artspace, John Street Stroud GL5 2HA

Tickets: £95 for the 2 day workshop.
